Did you know that Fresh & Easy carries organic and gluten-free items?  They do!  It's not Whole Foods or even Sprouts in terms of selection; however, the location may be convenient for you if you just need a few things.  Also, there are lots of ways to save money at Fresh & Easy.  

For instance, the "friends rewards" card can save you $5 every time you rack up 500 points.  That may seem like a lot of points, but you get 250 points just for signing up.  Also, there are easy ways to earn bonus points, mainly by adding electronic coupons to your rewards card.  (Just remember, you will first need to stop in at a Fresh & Easy to grab one of these reward cards, which are kept at the check-out lanes.  You will need internet access to activate your rewards card).

Most awesomely, there is always a great coupon to print when you visit the Fresh & Easy website.  I usually get a $5 off of $25 coupon.  These are stackable with your rewards discounts, too!  If your printer isn't working, no problem.  Just write down the coupon number and bring it to the store with you.  

Fresh & Easy also emails "personalized offer" coupons.  And, it seems like they are giving away a free item on most Fridays.  Last week it was salad.  Another week it was a bag of bagels.  You never know.  Even if you can't use the item, you might have a friend, neighbor, or pot luck event that would appreciate it.

This store has many hidden gems, such as 64 oz. organic store-brand apple juice for $3.99, grass fed beef, wild caught salmon, store brand organic legumes, Udi's frozen bakery items, Amy's organic items, and many more.  Check out the spice section for low prices on your favorites.  Scroll down for photos of various items.  These photos were all taken at the Oceanside and Vine store.  If you know of any organic or GF, GFCF Fresh & Easy items I that have not listed here, post a message and let us know.
